FUT 16 Team Of The Season - FIFA 16 Serie A TOTS Predictions

2016/5/24 14:09:46

FIFA 16 TOTS Serie A will be released soon, as one of the biggest leagues in the world, a large amount of FIFA fans are wondering which players will be named to TOTS and what overall they will receive? Our FIFA 16 Serie A TOTS Prediction is live for your reference!

The 2015/16 season is Juventus Football Club's ninth consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football and fifth consecutive season to win Serie A title. Gianluigi Buffon, Paolo Dybala and Paul Pogba are the keys to Juventus' 2015-16 success. In additional, Napoli enjoyed an immense season in Serie A, finishing in 2nd place and having been in 1st place for much of the mid-season period. Star striker Gonzalo Higuaín became the player with the most goals in a single season in all of Serie A history, with 36 goals. While thanks to Mohamed Salah and Kostas Manolas, Roma managed to finish third, qualifying for the play-off round of the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League. Now let's start our detailed FIFA 16 TOTS Serie A Predictions.

Starting XI

Goalkeeper

Gianluigi Buffon, Juventus – 84->92

What more can be said about a 38-year-old World Cup winner who remains one of the continent’s best in his position? Rather than show signs of ageing, Gianluigi Buffon goes from strength to strength, setting a new Serie A record with 10 consecutive clean sheets, while his final tally of 21 was six more than any other goalkeeper in the league. Furthermore, Buffon was a flawless leader for the Bianconeri, rallying the side after their early struggles and pushing them to again finish the season as champions.

Defenders

LB: Leonardo Bonucci, Juventus – 83->89

Apps (sub): 35 (1) Goals: 3 Assists: 1

While Buffon was impeccable in goal, much of the credit has to go to Leonardo Bonucci after the defender held the back line together throughout the season. Understandably, Rugani needed time to adjust, while Chiellini and Barzagli missed a number of matches with injury, leaving the No. 19 as the only constant presence. One thing is certain, however, and that whoever Bonucci lines up for next year will have one of the world’s best defenders.

CB: Kalidou Koulibaly, Napoli – 78->86

Apps (sub): 33 (1) Goals: 0 Assists: 0

Imperious, dominant and commanding; the Senegalese international proved himself to be a striker’s nightmare over the course of the season and was one of the real revelations of the campaign. Defensively brilliant, Koulibaly was part of the reason the Partenopei’s defensive record improved by over 20 goals, almost halving their goals conceded tally from last season and helping them climb from fifth place to second.

CB: Francesco Acerbi, Sassuolo – 75->83

Apps (sub): 36 Goals: 4 Assists: 0

Sassuolo were without doubt the biggest surprise package of the season, finishing ahead of Milan and Lazio, their fairytale might yet have the perfect ending should Juventus retain their Coppa Italia crown.Acerbic was a key feature of this Neroverdi team, featuring in 36 of their 38 Serie A matches, helping them to the fourth best defensive record in Italy’s top flight, with just Juventus, Napoli and Inter conceding fewer goals.

RB: Alessandro Florenzi, Roma – 77->85

Apps (sub): 31(2) Goals: 7 Assists: 3

The versatile Roman has grown in importance this season and has even taken the honour of wearing the captain’s armband on occasion. His ability and willingness to play just about anywhere makes him beyond important to Luciano Spalletti and his work ethic is second to none, which makes him fit right in to a side full of success-hungry players. At just 25-years of age, the Italian could go on to have a great career with the Giallorossi, and could prove his worth to the whole continent at the summer’s European Championship with Italy.

Midfield

LM: Giacomo Bonaventura, AC Milan – 78->86

Apps (sub): 31(2) Goals: 6 Assists: 8

In his second year with Milan, Giacomo Bonaventura was the club’s most influential player. He was undoubtedly the team’s most important creator, with his 2.1 key passes and 2.3 dribbles per game considerably more than any of his team-mates. Apart from a brief period in early 2016 when the 26-year-old was unable to wield his nimble footwork and slick passing to full effect, he was the Rossoneri’s most consistent performer. He also formed a strong understanding with top scorer Bacca, enabling the striker to settle effectively into Italian football.

CM: Paul Pogba, Juventus – 86->92

Apps (sub): 33 (2) Goals: 8 Assists: 12

Far from a secret by now, Pogba is one of the most breathtaking talents not only in Italy, No player did more this season to maintain Juve’s winning momentum than Paul Pogba, who lifted his game to the highest possible level as the pressure grew, ensuring the Bianconeri achieved their goals and arguably became the best midfielder in Serie A along the way. In his 35 Serie A appearances, Pogba found the net eight times as well as providing 12 assists for his teammates, proving his worth to Massimiliano Allegri.

CM: Claudio Marchisio, Juventus – 84->89

Apps (sub): 23 (none) Goals: none Assists: 2

When looking for Claudio Marchisio’s importance to Juventus, a quick glance at the starting XIs from the early part of 2015/16 is an ideal starting Coin. The midfielder missed a number of games with injury, but his return to the central role instantly helped the Bianconeri uncover their best combination of players and improve at both ends of the field. Marchisio’s tactical awareness ensures he protects the defence perfectly, while his precise passing keeps the attack ticking over and leading the team with an average of 63.5 per game.

RM: Mohamed Salah, Roma – 80->87

Apps (sub): 32(2) Goals: 14 Assists: 6

Having proven his ability during a loan spell at  Fiorentina during the second half of last season, Roma went through a lot to lure the Egyptian to the Eternal City. The controversy and difficulties encountered by the Giallorossi during their prolonged transfer saga have been proven worthwhile, as Salah demonstrated his worth on several occasions this season. His lightning-pace and quick feet have given every defender he has faced nightmares, and he ended the season with a more than respectable 14 goals and six assists to his name.

Forwards

ST: Paolo Dybala, Juventus – 78->89

Apps (sub): 29 (5) Goals: 19 Assists: 9

A big-money move from lowly Palermo to the Scudetto holders would be enough to put enormous pressure onto then 21-year-old shoulders. Paulo Dybala had a debut season to remember with Juventus, netting in the Supercoppa Italiana on his first appearance before leading the side with a team-high 19 goals in Serie A action. Adding nine assists—a tally only bettered by Paul Pogba—the Argentina native showed little signs of being overawed by the fee Juventus paid Palermo to secure his signature, a matter discussed in this previous post.

ST: Gonzalo Higuain, Napoli – 86->94

Apps (sub): 35 (0) Goals: 36 Assists: 2

El Pipita was on fire from start to finish this year, and his jaw-dropping record of 36 goals in just 35 games tells quite the story, the only thing missing from making the season perfect on a personal level is the Scudetto. The 2015-16 capocannoniere’s extraordinary tally broke Gunnar Nordahl’s 66-year-old record, and the feat was honoured by a pizza being named after the striker in Naples. Just this time last year it looked as though he was set to depart the Partenopei, and you cannot help but wonder where Napoli would be had he left before the season began.

Substitutes

GK: Samir Handanovic, Inter Milan – 83->91

LB: Alex Sandro, Juventus – 82->89

CB: Miranda, Inter Milan – 84->91

CM: Miralem Pjanic, Roma – 84->91

LW: Lorenzo Insigne, Napoli – 81->88

ST: Mauro Icardi, Inter Milan – 83->91

ST: Carlos Bacca, AC Milan – 82->90
